The National Aeronautic and Space Administration of USA (NASA) have made a decision to not promulgate the data of the research, devoted to a level of safety of air flights. Experts have found out that emergencies at flights of air planes happen more often, than it is admitted by authorities. In particular, collisions of planes with birds, and also unforeseen passes outward the flight strip happen twice more often, than the official statistics approves. As a result, not wishing to frighten air passengers, NASA has made a decision to hide results of research.
A scaled research, during which it has been interrogated about 24 thousand pilots of various airlines, was carried out within four years and has been completed in 2006.
